The NAS (Network-attached storage) is one of those things that can come in handy in many different roles, some of which are very important. For a home user, having a system that is always on and available to store movies, music or photos is very useful. It lets you keep everything in a central location for easy access They are also easy to setup for almost anyone. Most NAS systems have built in FTP access, so anything you have that can use FTP, can also get at your files. For businesses that need to have 100% uptimes, a NAS is an excellent idea. A NAS only has a single area to concentrate on, which reduces the probability of a crash. Along with hardware that is well tested, it reduces problems even more.
