The
3d Aurora, one of
Gigabytes newest high-end aluminum
cases. It is a little bigger than your standard tower, with lots of room for all
your goods. Since I follow news about new products fairly closely, I thought
this case
seemed to have more than the usual buzz about it. From the previews, it looked
like a quality case, so I took the opportunity to check it out for myself and
see what all the fuss is about. It turns out, there's a good reason for the
buzz. It's a very good product.

First Impressions:
The packaging for the Gigabyte
Aurora 570 chassis is both colorful and informative showcasing this unique
chassis` features and benefits. There was some slight damage to the cardboard box
thanks to the delivery service,
however, no damage to the actual case inside thanks to the inner protection.
Since the case is almost entirely aluminum, with just a
few bits of plastic on the front bezel, it is very light. Even though it is
lighter than my Lian-li PC-V1000, it feels almost as strong. The finished is
fairly standard brushed aluminum, and the unit I received has a high quality
black finish.
