Lian Li

Lian Li |
Lian Li is one suave computer enclosure manufacturer.
They seem to always have a revision or a revamp in the
works improving the same cases we've all admired. There
were a few things that were new and updated, such as the
Blue Ring B25, Armorsuit PC-P60 Mid-Tower, and Armorsuit
PC-P80 Full-Tower enclosures. But, two items caught my
eye in particular.

One More Side Shot |

Back & Front |
Sitting center stage was probably the slickest, most
"pimped out" AMD-ATI modified case to date. It was
actually a modified PC-P80 with a large acrylic spider
cut out on the standard panel side. The spider was lined
with red EL-Wire which should look pretty awesome in the
dark.

Sweet Bezel |
It's a specialty case specifically aimed at the new
AMD-ATI Spider platform series. The enclosure was by far
the sweetest aluminum enclosure at the event. The PC-P80
enclosure has added water cooling access, extended
chassis, large graphics card support, and more PCI ports
for easier access on larger motherboards. Nicely done
Lian Li!

Logitech

Logitech |
Logitech seems to have pretty much left the gamer
enthusiast peripherals to other companies. They may have
the G5 and up wireless series, but nothing quite like
Razer. They've followed the audio
and video component market with their products that
seemingly integrate them all such as the new Harmony One
Universal Remote which has a full color touch screen.

diNovo Mini Qwerty Keyboards |
The diNovo Mini won a CES 2008 Innovations Award because
of all its handy features. Aside from the Qwerty style
keyboard, it's compatible with your PC and Playstation 3
all accessible via its Wireless Blue Tooth 2.0
technology. Its easy to see at night with its two color
mode back lit Qwerty keyboard. And it basically fits in
the palm of your hand.
Moneual

Moneaul |
I had to stop by and see our old friends at Moneual.
After looking around the booth for something new, I soon
realized everything was new. These guys seem to approach
Home Theater entertainment from another planet where
ideas just seem to flow.
On display were the 902Euni and I*Magine. Both have
integrated color LCD touch screens. These, plus the new
301 series enclosures, are some of the cleanest, most
well designed and fabricated to date. There isn't one
hair out of place, so to speak. Simply, fantastic.

I*Magine |

902Euni |
Their new Moneual 902Euni HTPC Enclosure was recently
awarded a Windows Vista Innovation Award by Microsoft.
These two seem to just play very well together and have
come up with some beautiful systems.

New G-100 & U-100 |
Two new toys to the line up are the G-100 and U-100
Navigation units. You can see that the specs cards
pretty much say it all. I saw plenty of Navigation units
at CES, but none quite so well designed.
Mushkin

Mushkin |
In search of the creators of the "Black Pearl" Edition
Memory and some of the greatest BH-5 Memory Modules ever
seen, I found Mushkin atop the New York, New York Hotel.
Even today, these guys still get inquiries about their
BH-5 modules.

Redline Series |

Redline System |
While none of their DDR2 and DDR3 kits are Black Pearls,
they obviously scale much higher in frequencies and draw
a lot of attention due to reviews.
Mushkin has three major DDR2 groups: HP, XP, and
Redline. They've had Redline PC2-8500 DDR2 kits which
handled 4-4-4-12 memory timings with a little extra
voltage. Even their comparable XP2-8500 have seen
similar results. They also are continuing to produce
more DDR2 modules and making improvements along the way.

For Apple PCs |

Performance Line |
Mushkin has literally gone green with their newest power
supply line. Not only do they get a complete circuit
overhaul, they also come with some new flash and higher
wattage. The new Mushkin Enhanced Power Supplies will
range from about 600 watts to 800 watts which was on
demo and in their demo system.
