Logisys

This company is another favorite among modders and enthusiasts alike. You'll find many of the Logisys products lighting countless computers across the country as well as many of their peripherals decorating a desktop. They also probably one of the foremost early makers of various gizmos and gadgets.

Logisys Booth

Lights On!

One of the items on display that I found unique was the white desktop switching station that has a light blue glow about it. Your monitor can set on top with your keyboard underneath while your external drive or ROM drive, card readers, and USB ports are within easy reach. It's a good idea that I'm sure others have thought of but failed to ever get out. This one is still under a little bit of revising.

Another Dock Station

Another unique item is the 5.25 drive bay Remote Multifunction Panel which is controlled by a mini remote. It can power on and off your lights with the click of the remote which resembles a key chain car remote. Logisys has so many useable front panel stations that report voltages, temperatures, and fan speeds. Everyone loves useful computer modification products and it never hurts when they light up.

Chieftec

These guys are another big time OEM provider of cases and enclosures. Chances are you've seen their cases and didn't even know it. Usually the difference are a change in the front Bezel and fans, but the core remains the same. It's been sometime since I've seen any good Chieftec cases. This year there were a few new cases and changes made to existing.

Chieftec Booth

Chieftech actually has some very professional looking cases. Some are without windows but still have a nice bezel and front panel features. The full towers also have some revisions that have cleaned them up and some have a revised internal arrangement and features. The Mesh Tao is one of their newest with some of the changes with the mesh bezel and very cool writing.

Chieftec Desktop

Other new releases are the Combi Tower which can be desktop or tower, and the very clean Mesh Series, and Giga Case reminiscent of something cosmic. It's not uncommon for themes to resemble other cases. This one has a pretty spacious internal chassis and more silent features.

In the middle of the booth, Chieftec also had several power supply models on display. Some of them are for the more budget oriented buyers who rarely need something as powerful as an avid gamer or over clocker. These Power V 2.0 power supplies range up to 550 watts. They do have more serious Power V 2.2 power supplies that reach upwards of 700 watts and soon some larger watt models will accompany their more serious cases.
